Ekaterine Kardava is a Doctor of Law, a Professor at Business and Technology University. She has participated in scientific conferences held in Georgia and abroad and has attended professional training courses in Georgia and abroad. A number of textbooks and scientific works have been created with her authorship and co-authorship.

At various times, she participated in grant projects: transformation of thinking and improvement of organizational climate in public service (United Nations); Promotion of decentralization and good governance in the public service at the local self-government level (United Nations); Promotion of decentralization and good governance in the public service at the local government level (United Nations) and others. Is a DAAD scholarship holder in 2020.

Ekaterine speaks English, German, Italian and Russian languages.
