At Business and Technology University, an anti-plagiarism program, Turnitin, is integrated into the learning process to ensure academic integrity. According to the BTU Code of Ethics and Academic Integrity, an acceptable similarity rate is 10–12%.
Since 2024, the university has additionally offered an authorized AI detection tool integrated into the Turnitin system, enabling the identification of AI-generated content in academic works.
The Library provides year-round training sessions and consultations on how to use the program, both for academic staff and students. Turnitin is used by more than 15,000 universities worldwide and has over 30 million users.

Plagiarism training sessions are conducted both according to a planned schedule and upon individual request.
