Starting in 2024, the Business and Technology University will award scientific grants for student research purposes. Student research grants can only be obtained through an open competitive process. The purpose of the competition is to encourage the integration of research into the study process for students enrolled in BTU’s accredited bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral educational programs, to encourage the development of research activity in thematic and/or interdisciplinary directions, to increase the quality of scientific research, to raise the academic level, and to support the development of research skills. The priority direction of the competition and the conditions for participation are determined by an order of the BTU Rector. Students with active status in BTU’s accredited bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral educational programs are eligible to participate in the competition.
- A bachelor’s student participating in the competition must have a research supervisor, while a master’s/doctoral student must have a supervisor for their master’s/doctoral thesis;
- An applicant may have a consultant whose qualifications correspond to the research field described in the project;
- An applicant may submit only one project to the competition.
