Valeri Modebadze holds a PhD in Social Sciences and is a Professor at Business and Technology University. He has many years of experience in academia.

Valeri Modebadze is the author of numerous scientific publications and has participated in many local and international scientific conferences. He has taken part in international academic events as a speaker, keynote speaker, session chair, and moderator.

In 2025, he received a first-place diploma for the best article in International Relations and a diploma for the best textbook in Political Science. He also participated as a reviewer in the peer-review process for the Journal of Liberty and International Affairs.
