Shalva Julakidze
Shalva Julakidze holds a PhD in Economics and is a Professor at Business and Technology University. He has many years of experience in academia and the public sector. Since 2025, he has served as Deputy Director of the Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. At different times, he has worked as Head of the Procurement Department at the Public Service Hall, Head of the State Procurement Division at the Roads Department of Georgia, as well as in the Ministry of Defence of Georgia and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
Shalva Julakidze is the author and co-author of more than 40 scientific publications and has participated in 15 local and international scientific conferences.
His publication Reform of the System of the State Purchases in Georgia was presented at the OSCE seminar Promotion of Good Governance and Fighting Corruption in the South Caucasus. He has completed training courses in risk management, negotiation skills, public procurement, persuasion techniques, and operations management.
Shalva is proficient in English.
