Business and Technology University is launching a new project – B2B accelerator – the goal of which is to facilitate the creation of new opportunities for startups/teams focused on simplifying/automatizing processes in large businesses.
The project has several stages:
- Ideathon around a pre-identified problem;
- Acceleration program for the selected teams;
- Demo Day and meetings with investors.
In order to successfully implement the project, the B2B accelerator team will identify various industry problems, validate them through in-depth interviews and invite startup founders, software developers and/or tech enthusiasts to come-up with the best solutions. Based on careful selection and feedback, shortlisted teams will be invited to participate in the accelerator program that will guide them through the process of designing the right product for their customers and building a successful company.
The accelerator will consist of workshops and individual mentorship hours around topics such as: product design, product-market-fit, sales, pitching, fundraising and other relevant topics, including industry-specific topics. By the end of the program, participant teams will have a better understanding on how to commercialize their ideas and grow their ventures.
The B2B accelerator program will have one batch per year culminating in a demo day. Per batch maximum number of 10-15 teams will be able to participate. The organizing team has full discretion over the final number of teams selected.
Within the frames of the batch of 2023 of B2B Accelerator, BTU’s first partner organization is Glovo, which will provide the industry-specific problem for the ideathon and later on support the teams in terms of mentorship during the acceleration program.
