The positions offered are closely aligned with their academic programs and professional interests, ensuring the practical application of theoretical knowledge and supporting career development.
Introductory Meetings with Partner Companies
At Business and Technology University, visits from partner companies offer students a unique opportunity to directly engage with leading organizations across various sectors. During these meetings, students meet company representatives in person, gain in-depth insights into their activities and values, learn about ongoing projects and vacancies, and explore tailored internship and employment opportunities. These events allow participants to communicate directly with HR teams, ask relevant questions, and receive practical advice—significantly enhancing their career development prospects and expanding their professional networks.
Employment Forums
The Career Development Center organizes large-scale local and international career forums for BTU students several times a year, tailored by fields of study. These events bring together leading local and international companies operating in Georgia, including technology and logistics companies, banks, financial and auditing firms, insurance and brokerage companies, marketing agencies, development companies, and more. Within the forums, students have the opportunity to explore available job and internship opportunities.
BTU Alumni for BTU Students is a Business and Technology University initiative through which alumni, in some cases, present their own startups or represent their current employer companies. They share information with students about internship opportunities and various open positions.
Industry-Specific Career Fair
The Career Development Center offers students the opportunity to participate in industry-specific career forums, held in collaboration with representatives of targeted sectors. The purpose of these events is to enable students to establish direct connections with specific industries and companies, deepen their knowledge, and explore relevant employment or internship opportunities.
Industry Insight Series
Industry Insight Series is a unique initiative actively implemented by the Career Development Center. Within the framework of this project, students are given the opportunity to visit leading companies and headquarters across various industries. During these visits, company representatives share insights about local and international processes, ongoing initiatives, and student-oriented opportunities. Most importantly, students experience the organizational culture firsthand through on-site engagement.
Job Shadowing
Within the framework of the project, students have the opportunity to spend five working days visiting international and local partner companies and banks. They gain firsthand exposure to the work environment, learn about the specifics of different roles, and receive comprehensive insights into organizational processes.
Pitch Yourself
“Pitch Yourself” is an initiative aimed at strengthening students’ self-presentation skills. Within the project, students learn how to effectively present themselves in various professional settings—whether in job interviews, networking events, startup pitches, or situations requiring personal branding. The initiative includes both theoretical and practical components, preparing participants to clearly, confidently, and strategically communicate their experience, skills, and career goals within a short timeframe.
Alumni Networking Event
The Career Development Center organizes an Alumni Networking Event for graduates, aimed at building a strong professional network among BTU alumni. The event features interactive sessions where graduates can share professional experiences, discuss current industry trends, and establish meaningful connections.
BTU SHIP (Internal Internship Program)
The Internal Internship Program at Business and Technology University offers students the opportunity not only to gain managerial experience, better understand organizational management practices, and apply theoretical knowledge in practice, but also to contribute directly to the development of their own university. Through this program, students take on real work responsibilities, build professional relationships, and acquire experience that significantly enhances their competitiveness in the job market.
