The National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA), founded in 1959, is a non-profit professional society dedicated to advancing the profession of research administration

through education and professional development programs, the sharing of knowledge and experiences, and the fostering of a diverse, collegial, and respected global community.

In 2023, in partnership with NCURA, BTU established the open initiative/ collaborative platform for all interested stakeholders of the region – The  NCURA South Caucasus and Ukraine Initiative.

The platform aims at fostering experience sharing in  research management, research administration, technology transfer and research collaboration among interested institutions and stakeholders. Through the NCURA South Caucasus and Ukraine Initiatives BTU and NCURAs partner organizations organize monthly educational and information sharing sessions in online format, to support local research administrator’s community in building networks, sharing knowledge and addressing common challenges. .
