The global aspirations towards energy efficiency, seeking ways of diversifying energy supplies and producing clean energy are inevitably linked to cross-regional collaboration, knowledge transfer and joint efforts towards a common goal. The current Global Development Agenda as well as the European Commission’s recently adopted REPowerEU Plan firmly underlines the significance of global partnership for sustainable development and a resilient energy system. ‘The European Energy Efficiency towards Mutually Reinforcing Partnership with Georgia, Azerbaijan and Ukraine’ – 3E-Partnership project will contribute to such cooperation and knowledge exchange across regions and institutions.
This project aims at modernizing and empowering higher education institutions in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Ukraine and strengthening their capacities towards energy resilience and cross-regional cooperation.
To achieve set ambitious goal, the 3E-Partnership project will base its scope on two pillars:

Cooperation among engaged HEIs towards development of key competences, using innovative learning approaches, working with the non-academic sector and adapting innovative teaching strategies. Piloting BA and MA courses in Energy efficiency.
- Collaboration and Networking Framework co-creation: Establishing Energy Labs and Green Network in participating HEIs and building mutually reinforcing partnerships among project stakeholders from EU, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Ukraine.
