Sopio Litanishvili
Sopio Litanishvili is a student of the doctoral program “Digital governance and artificial intelligence in the public sector” of the University of Business and Technology. The goal of her doctoral thesis research is to assess the prospects and challenges of integrating artificial intelligence in the healthcare system of Georgia, and to analyze the needs.
Sopio Litanishvili also holds a Bachelor’s degree of Health Management and a Master’s degree of Science in Public Administration. The title of his master’s thesis is “Electronic governance as a resource of two-way effective communication between the democratic state and citizens”. The master’s thesis was about ensuring the involvement of Georgian citizens in e-governance, which is crucial for Georgia, as a state in the process of democratization, in order to increase trust in the government, ensure transparency and accountability, and strengthen effective governance and democracy. Based on the results of the research, separate recommendations were given in the paper regarding what possible actions Georgia should implement in order to increase the involvement of citizens.
