Nino Ugrekhelidze
Nino Ugrekhelidze is a doctoral student of the doctoral program of the University of Business and Technology (BTU) – “Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence in the Public Sector”.
Nino Ugrekhelidze has been employed in the field of education for more than 10 years, including working in the Department of Strategic Communication of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, in the LEPL National Center for Professional Development of Teachers, in the position of coordinator of the introduction and development of the national curriculum. Currently, she is an acting expert on the quality of general education of the LEPL National Center for Education Quality Development and the head of the Public Relations Department of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
As part of her doctoral research at the University of Business and Technology, Nino Ugrekhelidze is working on the topic: “Prospects of using artificial intelligence in the process of implementing the country’s national curriculum.”
Important activities of Nino Ugrekhelidze’s scientific activity for the purposes of BTU’s “Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence in the Public Sector” doctoral program are: Participation in international scientific conferences related to digital governance and artificial intelligence, participation in the creation of a research report on the need for a national strategy for artificial intelligence, participation in the Internet Governance Forum of Georgia as a panel speaker.
