The business case competition, implemented in cooperation with the Bank of Georgia and TBSC Consulting, has been successfully completed.

The business case competition, implemented in cooperation with the Bank of Georgia and TBSC Consulting, has been successfully completed. The goal of the competition was to develop students’ critical thinking and decision-making skills while working on real-life Harvard business cases.

More than 100 teams of Georgian students have registered to participate in the competition. At the final stage, 3 winners were identified among the 7 finalist teams. The winners were awarded cash prizes of 11,000, 6,000 and 3,000 lari.

The omega team at the Business and Technology University became the favorite team of the organizers.

At each stage of the competition, teams worked on Harvard business cases and were judged by a jury based on presentations. Among the jury members were top managers of such organizations as: Amazon, PWC, EBRD, Grant Thornton, Business & Finance Consulting, GmbH, Caucasus Road Project, Galt & Taggart, Europe Foundation, European Business Association Georgia and others.

2021 Business Case Competition was sponsored by the US Embassy in Georgia.
