Sofio Babunashvili, assistant professor of Business and Technology University, has a master’s degree in European and international security (University of Geneva). She has completed the following professional training courses: 1. Public Governance and Administration Certificate Program of Zurich University of Technology (ETH Zurich) (Switzerland) (research paper: “Improving security sector management in Georgia as a result of the 2018 constitutional reform – introduction of new parliamentary oversight mechanisms”), Switzerland. 2. Geneva Center for Security Policy (Switzerland), eight-month international security policy course “Leadership in the 21st century international security environment”; Switzerland 2019 3. NATO School (Germany), educational program “Resource Management”; Germany 2019 4. NATO School (Germany), orientation course for staff officers of NATO and Partnership for Peace member states. She worked in the NATO Liaison Office, currently she is employed in the Defense and Security Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, in the position of chief of staff.
