Maia Noniashvili
Maia Noniashvili is a Doctor of Business Administration, a Professor at the University of Business and Technology. He has more than fifteen years of practical and academic experience in higher education. Currently, she is the chancellor of the University of Business and Technology, as well as the head of Webster University’s Georgia campus administration. She has carried out research, teaching and institutional activities in European universities (KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Bragansk Polytechnic Institute, Porto Polytechnic, Westphalia University of Applied Sciences, Ghent University, Ljubljana Business School).
Maia Noniashvili obtained her Doctorate degree at the University of Business and Technology in 2020, the topic – “Technological platform of education as an innovative teaching model for universities: challenges and perspectives”. The interdisciplinary topic combined the fields of education and business management. After completing her Doctoral degree, she continued her research in the direction of education technologies and digitalization of education. She has participated in many local and international academic conferences, where she has presented works on the integration of innovative technologies (blockchain, AI, LMS and TMS platforms) in education management. She is a participant of the first international scientific conference of the European Marketing and Management Association (EUMMAS) in Dubai.
After obtaining her doctorate degree, she became the head of the Master’s program of the University of Business and Technology – “Business Administration and Modern Technologies”.
- Noniashvili made short-term visits to initiate joint projects, studies, initiatives:
- Within the framework of Erasmus+ international credit-mobility programs in partner European universities (Bragans Polytechnic Institute (Portugal), Ljubljana Business School (Slovenia), Vilnius University of Applied Sciences (Lithuania), Castilla La Mancha University (Spain), Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania))
- Within the framework of the Erasmus+ Institutional Development “Strengthening the Role of Georgian and Ukrainian Universities in Industrial Transformation through Industrial Paradigm 4.0” (HEIn4) project in partner European universities – Stockholm Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Bragansk Polytechnic Institute and Catholic University of Leuven.
