Giga Tvauri

Giga Tvauri is a Doctorate candidate in the Doctoral Program of Business Administration Sciences at the University of Business and Technology. In 2023, he received a Doctorate grant from Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation.

Currently, Giga Tvauri is the director of the Startup Acceleration Center of Grigol Robakidze University and an assistant professor at the Business School of the same university. His research topics include sustainable development and sustainable technologies. His scientific articles have been published in European and American scientific journals. Giga Tvauri has participated in a number of international conferences and workshops (Spain, Iceland, Romania, United Arab Emirates).

Giga Tvauri gives lectures at the following universities: Grigol Robakidze University – sustainable development and circular economy; Black Sea International University – entrepreneurship (in Georgian and English), management basics and tourism economics; University of Business and Technology – Integration of sustainable technologies in business.

Giga Tvauri has many years of experience as a TV presenter. His writing programs include analysis and review of business and economics.

Giga Tvauri is an expert of the European Association of Scientists and Technologists (COST) and a member of the Steering Committee of the Sustainable Hydropower Program (COST Action) of the same organization, as well as a participant of the COST “Sustainable Hydropower” training school.
