Donor and Partner Organizations: UNICEF and Private Sector
Project Implementation Timeline: 2023-2024 years
Project Status: Ongoing
In collaboration with the private sector, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and Business and Technology University (BTU) have launched an eight-month educational program named “Digital Literacy Initiative for Children and Youth – Junior Tech” starting from September 2023.
This initiative aims to boost digital and communication skills among vulnerable children and youth, equipping them with the knowledge and experience necessary to overcome obstacles to further education and employment. By developing these skills, the program seeks to help participants reach their full potential.
To enhance the program’s accessibility, UNICEF, BTU, and numerous business organizations have come together, offering free participation for children and youth aged 15-21 from vulnerable groups in Batumi and Tbilisi.
