Scientific Award in Business and Technology
With the aim of encouraging engagement in science, technology, and innovation, developing scientific careers, increasing staff motivation, and popularizing the development of BTU’s priority fields, the Scientific Award competition was established in 2021 on the initiative of the Research Center of the Business and Technology University (BTU).
The Scientific Award is granted based on an evaluation of the activities, published works, and various initiatives carried out by BTU’s academic staff in the field of innovation and digital transformation. The evaluation criteria applied to applications registered for the competition take into account both the researcher’s scientific productivity and their contribution to popularizing the field.
The scientist who wins the competition receives the title of BTU Scientific Award Laureate and is awarded a corresponding diploma and cash prize.
Eligible participants include: BTU-affiliated staff, and BTU non-affiliated and/or invited staff who are not affiliated with any other higher education institution in Georgia.
The cash prize established for the Scientific Award competition is 5,000 GEL.
