EGOI is the European Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics, which promotes the growth of interest in computer science and gives participants the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in solving algorithmic problems.
The main goal of the Olympiad is to encourage the more active involvement of girls in STEM fields and to support future female leaders in technology.
EGOI brings together more than 50 countries and contributes to strengthening gender equality in STEM fields.

Participants marked in grey will be invited to the selection round.
The selection round for the Georgian Girls’ National Team in Informatics will be held on April 4–5, 2026, at Business and Technology University.
Only those students who showed the best results in the qualification round held on March 24 will be admitted to the selection round.

წლის ევროპის გოგოების ოლიმპიადა იტალიაში, ცესენატიკოში გაიმართა და მასში ევროპის 50-ზე მეტი ქვეყანა მონაწილეობდა. საქართველოს გოგოების ნაკრები ოლიმპიადაზე 4-წევრიანი შემადგენლობით წარსდგა, გუნდის ლიდერი გიორგი მანდარიაა, ხოლო თანალიდერი – დავით ხვედელიძე. საერთაშორისო ოლიმპიადაზე წელს დაახლოებით 250-მდე მონაწილე იღებდა ასპარეზობდა.
საქართველო EGOI-ზე უკვე მეექვსედ მონაწილეობდა. წლების განმავლობაში ქვეყანამ მნიშვნელოვანი შედეგები აჩვენა: 2 ოქრო | 4 ვერცხლი | 3 ბრინჯაო.
2026 Olympiad
Who is the Olympiad for?
The Olympiad is intended for girls under the age of 18 who are interested in programming and algorithms.
Where will the international Olympiad be held?
The international Olympiad will be held in 2026 in Cesenatico, Italy.
Date: May 12–18.
How many stages does the Olympiad have?
The selection stage consists of two rounds. Each round includes 3 problems, and participants are given 5 hours to solve them. The same format also applies to the international Olympiad.
What types of tests are included in the Olympiad?
Participants are given challenging algorithmic problems that require:
- Finding an optimal solution
- Correctly designing the algorithm
- Programming implementation
- Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
In what format is the selection Olympiad held?
The selection stage will be held on the BTU campus.
How can I participate?
Registration for the 2026 Olympiad is closed.
How will the team be selected?
Two selection rounds will be held, based on the results of which the team will be formed: 4 main members and 2 reserve members.
How will the team be trained?
The team members are trained before each Olympiad through a specially organized 20-day preparatory camp. The training sessions are conducted with both the main team members and the reserve members and are aligned with the standards of international Olympiads.
