Tamari Mamniashvili
Tamar Mamniashvili holds a Doctorate in Public Administration and has been serving for many years as an Assistant Professor at the Business and Technology University. In parallel, she also lectures at the Faculty of Law and Diplomacy of Sokhumi State University. Alongside her academic work, she is engaged in professional activities at the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, within the Special Penitentiary Service’s Monitoring Department.
In addition to her pedagogical and practical work, she is actively involved in scientific research. Her main research areas include: problems of public administration in law enforcement bodies (Ministry of Justice, Prosecutor’s Office, Ministry of Internal Affairs); the compliance of constitutional norms with current legislation that forms the legal foundation of state governance; and related issues. She has also participated in a scientific research project on “Engineering Law” at the Georgian Technical University.
For the purposes of BTU’s Doctoral Program in “Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence in the Public Sector”, Tamar Mamniashvili’s significant scientific and international activities include: publication of nearly twenty scientific papers in international academic journals, and participation in fourteen international scientific conferences.
She is also an Academician of the Georgian Academy of Criminological Sciences, which holds Special Consultative Status with the UN ECOSOC.
Tamar Mamniashvili’s published research fully corresponds to the objectives of BTU’s doctoral program “Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence in the Public Sector”, with a specific focus on “Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence in the Justice System.”
