
In collaboration with BTU, the world’s leading French fashion institute, ESMOD, has started operations in Georgia. ESMOD is a globally renowned institution that has been operating in the fashion industry for over 175 years and owns 20 schools in 13 countries. Among its graduates are Jacquemus, Olivier Rousteing, Alexandre Vauthier, Vestiaire Collective’s co-founder Sophie Hersan, and others.

Based on the agreement signed with Business and Technology University (BTU), ESMOD will implement international certificate courses in fashion and innovation, fashion marketing and management, modern technologies, and other related fields.
ESMOD lecturers and trainers, international fashion experts, and leading ESMOD alumni will be involved in the courses.
The program offered in Georgia, Creative Industry Management, includes three short-term courses:
- The Fashion Market;
- Creative Process Management;
- From Market to Consumer.
Interested candidates can choose one of the three courses or complete the full program.
The implementation of international certificate courses in Georgia has already begun – the first cohort of students is currently undergoing training in The Fashion Market course (March 2025 – May 2025).

Creative Industry Management - Full program
The full program includes three certificate courses:
- The Fashion Market – 60 hours
- Creative Process Management – 60 hours
- From Market to Consumer – 72 hours
Price: 4 900 EUR (equivalent in GEL).
The Fashion Market
Course Objective: Analysis of trends and understanding the close connection between market positioning and offerings to implement a brand strategy adapted to the market.
Fee: 1 700 EUR (equivalent in GEL)
Format: The course includes both in-class and online learning modules. Physical lectures will be held at Business and Technology University.
Admission Requirement: Minimum B1 level proficiency in English.
Language: The lecture process will be conducted in English.
60-Hour Program – Comprising Four Modules:
Creative Process (12 hours):
- Study of various creative methods and tools.
- Experimentation and practical application of different creative processes.
Collection Development Process (12 hours):
- Understanding the construction and development of a fashion collection.
- Creating a detailed collection brief.
Textile Design (12 hours):
- Study of the textile production process and quality criteria.
- Exploration of fabrics, fibers, and material creation.
Technical Design (24 hours):
- Use of sewing machines and essential tools.
- Study of garment technical construction (measurement charts, pattern-making).
- Practical assignment – creation of a skirt.
- Workshops in MACH & MACH, AVTANDIL,
MATERIEL and INGOROKVA.
Creative Process Management
Course Objective: Establishing a creative process and gaining knowledge of the technical aspects of fashion design.
Fee: 1 700 EUR (equivalent in GEL)
Format: The course includes both in-class and online learning modules. Physical lectures will be held at Business and Technology University.
Admission Requirement: Minimum B1 level proficiency in English.
Dates: June – July 2025
Language: The lecture process will be conducted in English.

- Developing a product strategy based on brand positioning.
New Consumer Trends (12 hours):
- Analyzing key developments in the fashion industry.
- Studying new consumer behaviors.
Communication Strategy (12 hours):
- Understanding the objectives and tools of fashion communication.
- Differentiating between communication and product target audiences.
Digital Marketing (12 hours):
- Core principles of digital marketing.
- Understanding the specifics and limitations of digital media.
- Analyzing social media influence and influencer marketing.
Visual Merchandising (12 hours):
- Fundamental principles and strategies of visual merchandising.
- Learning best techniques for product presentation.
Customer Experience (12 hours):
- Planning and analyzing customer experience impact.
- Enhancing brand image, loyalty, and commercial success.
