Resume
The resume is a technical document that, in accordance with the requirements of the vacancy, purposefully reflects the candidate’s practical experience, theoretical knowledge and key skills that will increase the chances of being invited for an interview at the selection stage. When drafting a document, it is important for the candidate to consider:
- The information in the resume should match the requirements of the vacancy/internship program (education/work experience/training courses);
- The resume should be drawn up in simple and clear language;
- The information in the resume should not contain grammatical/stylistic errors;
- The candidate must have information about the activities of the company;
- A resume should always be compiled for a specific company and position;
- The candidate should always observe the visual part of the resume (it is better for the resume to be arranged in two colors);
- The information in the resume should not be based on false facts;
- The resume should always be sent in PDF format;
The candidate should always check the completed information before sending the resume.

Cover Letter
The cover letter is an additional type of technical document that allows the candidate to make a positive impression on the interviewer by reflecting relevant information. When drafting a document, it is important for the candidate to consider:
- The information contained in the cover letter should be in line with the requirements of the vacancy/internship programs;
- The information contained in the cover letter should be reasoned in accordance with the requirements of the vacancy;
- The cover letter should be written in a structured and concise manner;
- The information contained in the cover letter should not contain grammatical/stylistic errors;
- The cover letter should be written in simple and understandable language;
- The cover letter should not exceed 150 words;
- The cover letter should always be sent in PDF format.
Introduction:
In this section, the candidate should briefly describe the purpose of the document;
Argumentative part: In this section, the candidate must provide general information about the company’s activities and, based on a few well-argued examples, very briefly describe the benefits of working in an existing company (remember, this section reviews company activities only in a positive context); In the given part, the candidate must describe and substantiate why he/she was interested in the existing offer and why it is important for him/her to take a given position (the answer must be substantiated by arguments);
Theoretical knowledge/practical experience:
In this section, the candidate should describe what he/she will be able to do, based on his/her theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
Final part:
In this section, the candidate should try to present the summary information in a structured and concise manner.
Interview
The interview is the final stage of the selection process, where the candidate has the opportunity to convince the interviewers on the relevance of his/her candidacy on the basis of personal/face-to-face communication. Prior to the interview, it is important to for the candidate to:
- Review resume and cover letter;
- Be sure to prepare a convincing answer to the following five questions:
- “What do you know about the company’s activities”?
- “Why were you interested in this position”?
- “Why do you think I should choose you”?
- “What theoretical knowledge/practical experience will help you to do the job properly in this position?”
- “Please tell us what your strengths and weaknesses are”.
- Appear at the interview 10 minutes in advance;
Choose simple clothes, hairstyle and makeup (remember you should make an impression not on the basis of visuals, but on the basis of shared information).
Establishing business connections
The Career Development Center of the Business and Technology University offers students activities throughout the year to promote business connections with people from different fields, such as:

Mock interview
The Career Development Center offers “Mock Interview” to undergraduate students in all three program areas, which will enable job-seeking students to have simulated interviews with industry professionals and employers to get interview tips, recommendations and, most importantly, professional-related questions. This student project will be implemented once a semester. Please see the selection criteria:

Case Interview
The Career Development Center offers undergraduate students in all three programs a “Case Interview” that allows students with a desire for employment to conduct real Case-based interviews with hr specialists from leading companies and receive the necessary advice and recommendations from them.
The project will be held once a semester.

Freelancing
The Career Development Center offers undergraduate students in all three programs the freelancing program.

Job shadowing:
The Career Development Center offers undergraduate students in all three programs the “Job shadowing” program, which offers undergraduate and graduate students a two-week internship program at various leading companies, according to the directions.
Within the framework of this program, students will be able to see and get acquainted with the working environment of the company, the specifics of the work of different services and get complete information about the work process.
The project will be held once a semester.

Local Employment Forum
Several times a year, The Career Development Center organizes large-scale employment forums for BTU students.
These events are attended by leading local and international technology and logistics companies, banks, financial and auditing companies, insurance and brokerage companies, marketing companies, development companies and others. Forums provide students with access to current vacancies and various program offerings, depending on the semester.
International Employment Forum
At the initiative of the Career Development Center, students of the Business and Technology University will have the opportunity to participate in the International Employment Forum organized by the Center according to their directions

To apply for a letter of recommendation, please complete this registration form. A document will be sent to the University E-mail within 7 working days after applying.
Continuing Education Program
Initiated by the Business and Technology University, all graduates have the opportunity to choose the semester courses offered by the University on a lifetime basis, with 100% funding.
