GeorgiAI – the main information fund of Georgia is being created
A large-scale digital information fund/base GeorgiAI is being created in Georgia. The digital space created by the partnership of Business and Technology University and “Palitra Holding” is based on artificial intelligence and brings together publishers from various fields.
GeorgiAI is the country’s largest, unified digital information fund, which generates reliable information about current events, economic indicators, historical facts and other issues in Georgia and makes it widely available to interested parties. The AI-based digital database combines both current and archival material and is available in English.
As the authors of the project explain, the information base is constantly updated. It will be systematically replenished with new and archival material on the economy, business, politics, culture, innovation, technology, education and other sectors.
“The creation of a single digital information fund is of particular importance in the rapidly changing environment of technologies. Along with the development of technologies, the behavior of receiving information is changing globally. Its goal is to obtain correct and reliable information from the appropriate source in a short period of time. The main information fund of Georgia will be created with artificial intelligence tools, which will automate the information search process. As a result, search efficiency and availability of information tailored to personal needs and interests will increase, and false and unverified information will be blocked. The platform will give users the opportunity to get acquainted with updated, voluminous multimedia material, verify facts and reduce costs. Actively working on the creation of the Georgian language version of GeorgiAI”, Business and Technology University announced.
“Today, Palitra Holding combines the largest media archive in the country. It is this archive that is uploaded to the GeorgiAI Foundation. A large part of our media archive is already uploaded to the platform. The process continues. However, it should be noted that the digital information fund is not limited to our materials. GeorgiAI, as the main and largest information fund of Georgia, is open for cooperation with state institutions and international organizations, private sector, media, non-governmental organizations. Access to the information generated by artificial intelligence will be free for anyone,” Palitra Holding said.
