ESMOD x BTU: Creative Process Management course registration is now open
Business and Technology University (BTU) and the world-renowned French fashion institute ESMOD are offering high-standard international educational opportunities in Georgia for individuals interested in the fashion industry.
The Creative Process Management course is designed for those who want to learn methods for generating innovative ideas, use various creative tools, and manage creative processes. Students will practically apply techniques for creating and implementing design concepts, helping them develop unique and strategically crafted collections. The program includes both theoretical and practical modules, enabling students to understand the modern demands of the industry.
Study format: The course includes both in-person and online modules, with physical lectures held at Business and Technology University.
Course modules (60 hours):

Creative Process (12 hours)
Study of various creative methods and tools
Practical application of creative processes -
Collection Creation Process (12 hours)
Learning the construction and development of fashion collections
Preparation of a detailed collection brief -
Textile Design (12 hours)
Study of textile production processes and quality criteria
Creation of fabrics, fibers, and materials -
Technical Design (24 hours)
Use of sewing machines and tools
Learning the technical construction of clothing
Practical task – creating a skirt
As part of the course, participants will have the opportunity to take part in practical workshops led by renowned Georgian designers: MACH & MACH, AVTANDIL, MATERIEL, and INGOROKVA.
Entry requirement: Minimum B1 level in English
Price: €1700 (equivalent in GEL)
Language of instruction: English
Dates: June–July 2025
In collaboration with BTU, the globally recognized fashion institute ESMOD has officially launched operations in Georgia. With over 175 years of history, this French institute has 20 schools in 13 countries and trains leading professionals in the fashion industry. Notable ESMOD alumni include designers such as Jacquemus, Olivier Rousteing, Alexandre Vauthier, and Sophie Hersan, co-founder of Vestiaire Collective.
ESMOD and BTU have signed a cooperation agreement under which international certificate courses in fashion, innovation, marketing, and management will be held in Georgia. As part of this partnership, international certificate courses have already begun—training of the first student cohort for the Fashion Market course is currently underway (March 2025 – May 2025).
