Davit Sikharulidze

Davit Sikharulidze is an academic doctor of economics, associate professor of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, accreditation and authorization expert of the National Center for Education Quality Development, head of the Eastern European University’s Scientific Research and Development Department, professor of the Faculty of Business and Engineering of the same university. He worked in private and public organizations at high positions in different periods: he was an invited expert of the Parliament of Georgia, as well as an economic advisor and an economic expert of the international organization International Alert. He was in charge of business undergraduate educational programs at Grigol Robakidze University.

In order to improve his qualifications, he participated in exchange programs at Kansas State University and Metropolitan State University (USA), Tartu University (Estonia), Macroeconomic Research Academy of the National Development and Reform Commission (China). Within the framework of the Erasmus+ exchange program, he was invited to give lectures in strategic management at Rzeszów University of Technology (Poland), Miskolc University (Hungary) and Poznan University of Technology (Poland).

Since 2005, he has been engaged in teaching activities at the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. delivers lecture courses in Georgian and English (international business, research methods, international entrepreneurship, strategic management); He has published about 50 scientific works on topical issues of business and economy. Davit Sikharulidze is a participant in many scientific-research grant projects (as project co-author, leader, coordinator, leading researcher, invited expert, etc.). Under his direct leadership, four targeted scientific grant research projects funded by Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University have been completed in the last two years, and the fifth one is underway.
