Davit Gondauri
Davit Gondauri is a doctor of business administration, affiliated associate professor of the University of Business and Technology, winner of the scientific award of the University of Business and Technology. He has been actively engaged in teaching and practical activities for 15 years. He is a first rank international expert of the Research Institute of International Trade and Investment – RIITI. Since 2021, he has been the director of the Eurasian Logistics Research Center of “EUMMAS”.
Davit Gondauri has been engaged in active scientific and research activities for years. He is the author of more than 30 international and local scientific publications, speaker of up to 10 international and local conferences, author of 6 scientific monographs, participant of numerous scientific workshops, seminars, participant of various international professional development events, participant and researcher of various international and local scientific grant projects. In recent years, his scientific publications have been cited to 150 in the works of foreign researchers, which have been published in international high-ranking journals.
Davit Gondauri guides doctoral students at BTU’s business administration doctoral program within the following research topics: “The Role of Emissions Trading in the Process of Attracting Private Investments in Renewable Energy in Georgia”, “The Role of Cryptocurrencies and Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC) in the Transformation of the Traditional Financial System”, “Cash Digitization in Georgia Using Innovative Fintech Payments.” Problems, challenges and effects on retail business in Georgia”.
Important activities of Davit Gondauri’s scientific and international activities include: participation in research projects funded by international donors (USAID, EBRD); Research cooperation with international institutions, including (West Saxon University of Applied Sciences of Zwickau, Brookings Institution, Institute for Security and Development Policy (Sweden); international refereed publications, including Taylor & Francis (Routledge). He is a reviewer for Elsevier.
