Business and Technology University (BTU) is Celebrating Its 8th Anniversary
Founded in 2016, Business and Technology University has quickly become one of the most sought-after and highly-rated higher education institutions in the country. Over the past eight years, it has made significant strides with unprecedented training programs in business, technology, and artificial intelligence. The university boasts innovative high-tech laboratories, including the only authorized Apple training center in Georgia, Microsoft Lab, Amazon Academy, and ACCA international accreditations. It also features a lecturers’ academy, the highest rate of student employment, and partnerships with top global universities, including Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University, as well as collaboration with the World Economic Forum.
The university currently offers 10 accredited programs at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels, enrolls about 10,000 students, and maintains over 100 exchange programs and around 500 partner organizations.
In addition to these achievements, the university is constructing a new campus in central Tbilisi, scheduled to open by the end of the year. This new campus will feature multifunctional spaces, state-of-the-art laboratories, modern auditoriums, libraries, and multimedia rooms, expanding the university’s infrastructure on Chavchavadze Avenue. Starting in 2025, the new campus will host new programs, pioneering projects in artificial intelligence, and partnerships with leading global technology brands, alongside international cooperation and large-scale scientific research projects.
Moreover, Business and Technology University is the first educational institution in Georgia to integrate AI solutions into its educational and administrative processes. The innovative BTU AI platform combines educational, research, training, and analytical materials, including AI books, AI lecturers, podcasts, articles, and other resources, setting a new standard for education.
