BTU’s AI undergraduate program has been accredited
BTU’s new undergraduate program in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence has been officially accredited. The updated status of the program will be reflected on the website of the National Assessment and Examination Center (NAEC) within 2 weeks and the status will be changed to “Accredited”. The implementation of the program will start from the 2024-2025 academic year. It is planned to enroll 100 students in the first academic year. The annual fee of the training program will be 2950 GEL.
BTU’s AI bachelor’s degree program will equip students with one of the world’s most in-demand professions. Along with high-level theoretical knowledge, students will be involved in practical activities. From the very first course, you will start: studying the basics of artificial intelligence, Big Data analytics, Python, machine learning, data structures and algorithms, natural language processing, (NLP) data science, robotics. It is worth noting that BTU’s Microsoft Lab will provide Microsoft international certification to those interested in individual artificial intelligence modules. AI Lab services will be fully funded by students.
Students of the program will have the opportunity to receive a double degree. They will go to a German university with full funding, where they will spend their last academic year and will receive a second, international diploma along with the BTU diploma. Zwickau University of Applied Sciences is a partner of Business and Technology University in this direction. German university professors will also be involved in the educational process.

Admission to the new bachelor’s program of BTU will take place through unified national exams. Applicants must pass: Georgian language and literature, English language and mathematics or physics. After completing the program, they will receive the qualification of Bachelor of Computer Science.
