New Agreement Between BTU and Bar-Ilan University Within the Framework of a Doctoral Program
On July 1, 2025, Business and Technology University (BTU) hosted a presentation of a new collaboration launched between universities and industry representatives from Israel and Georgia.
A memorandum of understanding was signed between Business and Technology University (BTU) and Bar-Ilan University (Israel), in partnership with the Millennium Foundation and with the involvement of the Business Association of Georgia and the ICT Association of Georgia. This initiative was developed to strengthen academic education and integrate research with practice, in line with modern international standards.
The program is intended for students enrolled in the Business Administration Doctoral Program at BTU and aims to provide them with the opportunity to engage in international-level research and practical activities. Students will work under the mentorship of leading scholars and in collaboration with industrial partners on real-world issues that represent current challenges in the modern business environment.
Bar-Ilan University is one of the leading research and educational institutions in Israel, known for its integration of science, technology, and the humanities. The university has strong research infrastructure and international recognition in fields such as neuroscience, computer science, engineering, biotechnology, and social sciences. Bar-Ilan University consistently ranks among the top institutions in international rankings, including QS and Times Higher Education, and actively collaborates with leading universities and research centers around the world.
A major advantage of the program is that, upon successful completion, the student will be awarded academic degrees from both institutions – a diploma from BTU and a diploma from Bar-Ilan University. The program is fully funded and free of charge for participants.
As part of the program, students will have the opportunity to participate in multidisciplinary research projects, collaborate with local and international industry partners, explore and analyze real-world strategic and operational challenges in contemporary business, and develop decision-making skills within real organizational contexts.
