The country’s largest high-tech marathon – AI MARATHON – is organized by the Business and Technology University. The marathon combines various competitions, championships, and events centered around artificial intelligence, with thousands of students participating nationwide.

The marathon’s prize fund is constantly growing and is distributed as investments by partner technology companies to winning participants. Selected teams participating in each marathon activity receive monetary awards – investments to create prototypes of their presented ideas. More than 50,000 GEL has already been invested in student projects within the marathon, and this prize fund continues to grow.

AI Hackathon, AI Ideathon, AI Jam Sessions, Programming Championships, AI Debates, AI Startup Pitching Competition, and other activities have been accessible to students and tech enthusiasts living in all regions of the country since 2024. The themes of the competitions will also be diverse: creating AI services in various sectors such as cybersecurity, education, sustainability, smart cities, healthcare, and more.
