With the support of the European Union, the second cohort mentor training for the “Women Mentorship in Tech Programs” project has been successfully completed!
From June 20–22, 2025, BTU hosted the mentor training and onboarding session for the second cohort as part of the “Women Mentorship in Tech Programs” project.
The first day was dedicated to an online meeting with the new instructors, while the following two days featured intensive in-person sessions on BTU’s campus, involving 100 mentors.
Throughout the training, participants thoroughly explored the structure of the mentorship process, effective communication methods with beneficiaries, and various teaching approaches. Special emphasis was placed on practice-based learning, the mentor’s role in the professional development of beneficiaries, and strategies for motivation.
The event was attended by a special guest – a board member of Women Go Tech – who shared Lithuania’s experience in promoting women’s development in the tech field.
In the second cohort of the project, 350 beneficiaries will be trained across five different technology fields, including: Cybersecurity, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, and Frontend Development.
