ABOUt PROJECT
In 2025, Tech Women Community was founded in Georgia for women and girls interested in innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship, as a joint initiative of UN Women, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Denmark, D Block, and the Business and Technology University (BTU).
Tech Women Community is an innovative platform that brings together women and girls living in Georgia to strengthen their position in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector—through skills development, opportunities for collaboration, and support for career growth. The initiative’s mission is to increase women’s representation and participation in the technology industry, helping to build a more diverse and innovative ecosystem.
Throughout 2025, nearly 250 women joined the community and attended masterclasses, training sessions, and other events over the course of the year—both in ICT-related areas and in personal and professional development.
