BTU iOS LAB has become an authorized Apple training center
Business and Technology University has become an Apple Authorized Training Center and has been designated as an Apple Authorized Training Center for Education (AATCE).
These training centers, established by Apple in various countries, are dedicated to providing the highest quality education to both lecturers and students. Partner educational institutions undergo careful selection in accordance with Apple’s stringent standards, which consider factors such as appropriate technological equipment, qualified academic staff, comprehensive training courses, and infrastructure.
AATCE provides students with training conducted by Apple certified trainers. The curriculum is diverse, encompassing developmental aspects as well. Consequently, students are presented with opportunities to cultivate careers in this realm and integrate themselves into the iOS application ecosystem. Since its inception in 2008, the App Store has seen iOS applications emerge as one of the fastest-growing sectors, offering significant avenues for financial growth to entrepreneurs of various scales.
The iOS laboratory at BTU was established in 2021 with support from the Georgia Economic Security Program of USAID. This facility enables students, lecturers, startups, and beneficiaries to leverage the university’s fully equipped iOS lab.
It was within this aforementioned lab that 6-month free training courses were conducted in the realm of iOS and Android development, encompassing both theoretical and practical components, along with the option for international certification in the respective direction (iOS/Android). The objective of these courses is to impart participants with knowledge of new technologies and facilitate their immersion into the digital world within the domain of Mobile App Development.
The BTU lab aids students, professors, and startups in realizing innovative projects.
Within the BTU iOS LAB, a fully funded 4-month course of the Kids Coding Program was conducted, focused on learning the programming language for Apple.
As part of this initiative, the Swift Playgrounds platform developed by Apple was introduced to beginners, guiding them through the fundamentals of Swift programming with interactive puzzles and engaging techniques.
The BTU iOS LAB has been recognized as an Apple Authorized Learning Center in collaboration with StrategEast.
