World Economic Forum names Nino Enukidze as a young global leader
Nino Enukidze from Georgia was named in the ranking of young global leaders by the World Economic Forum.
The rating is made every three years and as a result, around 100 leaders are named all over the world. According to the forum, the list compiled by the prestigious rating system presents those people who have a global vision in response to various challenges facing the world.
Young Global Leaders (YGL) are distinguished by their drive to respond to the world’s most important challenges. Over the years, this network has united about 1,500 people who lead governments and Fortune 500 ranking companies, have received Nobel Prizes, and Grammy Awards, are UN Goodwill Ambassadors and are people working in various fields who are distinguished by significant achievements.
The Young Global Leaders Community was established by Klaus Schwab, founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum, in 2004 and aims to bring together the next generation of leaders from around the world for a better future.
“We present outstanding people who are responding to the world’s most pressing problems. We have selected a young global leader who has significant achievements both in his profession and in front of the public,” the World Economic Forum Council announced.
Nino Enukidze is the rector of the University of Business and Technology. “Coding School for Women” founded on her initiative is the largest platform in the country, which, with international partnership and support, helps women in the process of training and employment in technology. Nino Enukidze is a Doctor of Business Administration and Professor, he also heads the European Marketing and Management Association Academic Consortium.
