Vakhtang Tcharaia
Vakhtang Tcharaia is a doctor of economics, associate professor of the University of Business and Technology, vice-president of the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises of Georgia. For years, Vakhtang Tcharaia has been actively engaged in teaching and practical activities in the field of economics, finance and analytics.
Vakhtang Tcharaia is actively involved in scientific research activities. He is the author of up to 40 international and local scientific publications, speaker of up to 50 international and local conferences, participant of numerous scientific workshops, seminars, author of up to 10 scientific projects, participant and researcher of various international and local scientific grant projects.
Vakhtang Tcharaia is supervising a doctoral student at BTU’s Doctoral Program in Business Administration within the framework of the following research topic: “Digital Silk Road and the Role of International Financial Institutions”.
He is: a member of the editorial board of the journal of the Faculty of Economics of Anadolu University (Turkey), a member of the editorial board of the European Marketing and Management Association (B&H); Member of the World Economic Association” (Great Britain), member of the International Advisory Board Committee “Research World” (India), multiple grantee of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), a reviewer of Advances in Science, Technology and Engineering Systems Journal (ASTESJ) (Poland), a member of the advisory board of “Cambridge Scholars Publishing” (Great Britain) and a member of the editorial board of “Central Asia and Caucasus” journal.
Important activities of Vakhtang Tcharaia’s scientific and international activities for the purposes of BTU’s Doctoral Program in Business Administration are:
- Short-term visits to the partner European university (University of Rzeszów (Poland)) within the framework of Erasmus+ international credit-mobility programs for the purpose of initiating joint projects, researches, initiatives.
