Vakhtang Chkareuli

Vakhtang Chkareuli is a Doctor in Economics, Affiliated Associate Professor at the University of Business and Technology and heads the Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) program at the University of Business and Technology. For years, Vakhtang Chkareuli has been actively involved in pedagogical and practical activities in the direction of finance and analytics.

Vakhtang Chkareuli is engaged in active scientific and research activities. He is the author of more than 10 international and local scientific publications, speaker of 20 international and local conferences, participant of many scientific workshops, seminars, participant of 10 international professional development events, author of 5 scientific projects,participant and researcher of various international and local scientific grant projects.

Vakhtang Chkareuli is supervising a doctoral student at BTU’s business administration doctoral program within the framework of the following research topic: “The impact of digital governance on the implementation of AI technologies in human resource management processes – the example of the public sector of Georgia”.

• Important activities of Vakhtang Chkareuli scientific and international activities for the purposes of BTU Business Administration Doctoral Program are: Short-term visits to partner European universities (Zwickau University of Applied Sciences (Germany), School of Business and Economics (Latvia), Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania)) within the framework of Erasmus+ international credit-mobility, DAAD and virtual mobility programs to initiate joint projects, research, initiatives;
• Academic coordination of the ROLA – Research Oriented Learning Analysis project of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in order to promote joint research;
• Academic coordination of the existing institutional cooperation between the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the University of Business and Technology.
