“Psychology in the Digital World” is one of the first programs in Georgia to combine the classical foundations of psychology – developmental, cognitive, and social psychology – with the psychological aspects of digital technologies and artificial intelligence. Students study the specifics of human-AI interaction, online behavior and psychological processes on social media, digital well-being, and the ethical challenges of AI.
Within the program, students study the foundations of psychology in depth, including human behavior, thought processes, emotions, personality development, and research methods. However, the study of psychology at BTU is not limited to classical knowledge alone. Students additionally master the latest developments in the field, data analytics, and artificial intelligence tools – skills that are becoming increasingly important for the modern psychologist.
