Tamar Kbiladze
Tamar Kbiladze is a doctor of business administration, professor of the University of Business and Technology, head of the doctoral program of business administration. In 2019, 2022, 2023, she was an invited lecturer at Koblenz University (Germany).
Since 2022, a reviewer of the journal “Economics” of the Vilnius State University (Lithuania) (the journal is indexed in the Scopus database).
She is the author of up to 20 international and local publications, 1 bilingual monograph, speaker at up to 15 international conferences, multiple beneficiary of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and ERASMUS grant competitions.
- Kbiladze has received many awards, namely:
In 2023 – Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University medal – for fruitful scientific and pedagogical activities;
In 2023 – monetary award for publishing an article in an internationally peer-reviewed journal with a high impact factor – Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University;
In 2016 – certificate of appreciation – at the conference organized by the Scientific University of Social and Economic Sciences in Barcelona, for leading the business and economy session;
In 2015 – certificate of appreciation – at the conference “Economy, Society and Management” held in Paris, which was organized by the Research Center for International Economic Development, her report “Theoretical and Empirical Foundations of Optimal Tax Burden in Georgia” won the “Best Report of the Session” nomination;
Tamar Kbiladze is a member of the International Institute of Social and Economic Sciences (Prague, Czech Republic), as well as a member of the Editorial Committee of the International Economic Development Research Center (IEDRC).
Important activities of Tamar Kbiladze’s scientific and international activities for the purposes of BTU business administration doctoral program are:
- Academic coordination of international summer schools of the German government and academic exchange service in cooperation with Koblenz University of Applied Sciences.
