unique master’s program in international security and technology
A unique master’s program in International Security and Technology is offered by Binze University of Technology for graduate students. The program was developed in cooperation with BTU and the training center of the State Security Service.
It is noteworthy that the program prepares professionals with systematic knowledge of national and international security issues, intelligence, cyber security, and other related subjects. Graduates are proficient in modern technological tools, enabling them to succeed in the security sector.

- Economic security
- Geopolitics
- The role of intelligence in the country’s defense and security system
- Open-source technologies and data analysis
- War and strategy
- Principles of national security formation
- Principles of joint intelligence operations
- International terrorism
- Georgia and the foundations of European thought
- Democratic oversight of the security sector
- European and Euro-Atlantic Security Policy
The Master’s program in International Security and Technology received support from the European Union.
Graduates of the program can pursue employment in defense, security, intelligence, law enforcement, and other governmental structures, as well as international and non-governmental organizations, academia, or the private sector. Local partners and employers of the program include the Research Center of the Parliament of Georgia, Ministry of Defense of Georgia, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Personal Data Protection Service, Cyber Security Bureau, National Bank of Georgia, Digital Governance Agency, and others.
Similar to other study programs at the University of Business and Technology, this program offers the possibility of obtaining two degrees.
The University of Business and Technology’s partner, the University of Tussa (Italy), awards a diploma to students of the Master’s Program in International Security and Technology who participate in the exchange program.
The program is accredited and has received the highest evaluations from international partners.
The first intake of students was admitted last year within the framework of the program. Student admission is based on common master’s exams and internal specialty exams. The program costs 2250 GEL, with the possibility of obtaining full funding from the state.
