Within the Information Systems Management (DevOps) program, students learn to use AI assistants to create and optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC), generate CloudFormation templates, improve Docker and Kubernetes configurations, and analyze security risks and system vulnerabilities.
Particular attention is paid to the automation of CI/CD processes. Students work practically with GitHub Copilot and Amazon DevOps Guru, learning to use AI in version control, continuous integration, and incident prevention processes.
The program also covers the creation of serverless architectures, integration with AWS AI services, automated processing of textual data, vector search, and the use of modern AI platforms to solve real business problems.
AI is also integrated into the project management track. Students work with Jira AI, Miro AI, and other modern tools that simplify project planning, the research process, data visualization, and report preparation.
A significant update to the program is two new courses:
AI Literacy & AIOps – the use of artificial intelligence for infrastructure monitoring and management;
Applied AI/ML Services on AWS – using Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Textract, and other ready-made AI models to solve real business problems.
The program is focused on practical teaching. Theoretical knowledge is complemented by real projects and hands-on labs using AWS and other modern platforms, allowing students to gain industry-demanded experience during their studies.
