From Georgia to the world – Nino Enukidze presented the AI4Globe initiative at the World Economic Forum
At the annual summit of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders, held this year in Singapore, the Rector of the Business and Technology University, Nino Enukidze, presented the AI4Globe project and discussed the importance of integrating future technologies into the education sector.
AI4Globe is a project initiated at BTU aimed at spreading artificial intelligence literacy worldwide. Its target groups include the academic sector, businesses, women, children, and adolescents. Training and retraining programs for these groups have already begun at BTU. AI4Globe will be one of the first innovative educational projects to be exported globally. Supporters of the project include the UN Center for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (UNICRI), UN Women, UNICEF, the European Business Association (EBA), as well as top-rated European universities and innovation centers.
During her speech at the summit in Singapore, Nino Enukidze emphasized the potential of artificial intelligence, the importance of its ethical and responsible use, and the need for international collaboration to enhance digital literacy and economic well-being while avoiding risks related to breaches of personal data protection and cybersecurity norms.
Notably, in the Young Global Leaders ranking by the World Economic Forum, Nino Enukidze was named as a representative from Georgia for 2024.
The ranking is established every three years, identifying up to 100 leaders worldwide. According to the Forum, the prestigious list showcases individuals who possess a global vision to address various challenges facing the world.
