Diana Kvaratskhelia
Diana Kvaratskhelia is an Associate Professor at the Business and Technology University and Doctor of Physics and Mathematics. She is the author/co-author of a number of local and international highly rated scientific publications. She has participated in scientific conferences both in Georgia and abroad (Second Alexander von Humboldt International Conference 2007, EGU 2008 , 2014 , 2015, 2019, GEOLINKS 2020, GEOLINKS 2021, EMCEI 2022, MedGU 2023). She has prepared Python 3.10.9 lecture materials.
Diana Kvaratskhelia is a member of the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission Group of Experts (the UNESCO/IOC OceanExpert ) and the member of the European Geosciences Union (EGU -2014, 2015). She has attended a number of international trainings and seminars to improve her professional qualifications.
Diana Kvaratskhelia is a participant of several international EU funded projects (ASCABOS 2007; Black Sea SCENE, 2005-2008 and other ). She is currently working on the project “Development and improvement of a high-resolution maritime regional forecast system for the Georgian sector of the Black Sea for the purpose of navigational and ecological safety” funded within the state scientific grant for fundamental research in 2022. Diana Kvaratskhelia has received an award for creating a software package -„The Black Sea Barotropic Nonstationary Circulation Numerical Model”.
