Through the power of generative AI, MIT’s groundbreaking research platform, ORBIT, is now accessible to Georgian startups.
During the inauguration of Business and Technology University’s (BTU) new campus, MIT Professor and ORBIT creator Douglas Williams delivered a masterclass tailored for startups. ORBIT is an innovative platform that integrates MIT’s extensive knowledge base—including over 5,000 scientific articles, entrepreneurship manuals, more than 200 curated courses, and resources from exclusive scientific and informational databases. The platform enables startups to use generative AI to design growth strategies, enter new markets, and develop business models based on Bill Aulet’s “24 Steps to a Successful Startup.” It also facilitates connections with MIT-based startups, access to resources developed by Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIRs), and much more.
In partnership with BTU, the MIT ORBIT platform is already being used to produce unique sectoral analytics, research reports, and forecast-based articles on the development of various industries both in Georgia and internationally. ORBIT significantly enhances the research potential of BTUAI, enabling the creation of domain-specific analytics, bilingual (Georgian and English) publications, educational materials, business case studies, and multimedia content.
Access to MIT ORBIT will be granted to all BTU students and professors, as well as to startups collaborating with BTU’s Center for Entrepreneurship.
