A partner and serial entrepreneur of the American holding Arieli Capital will meet with Georgian startups
As part of the Global Startup Fund Summit, Hilla Ovil Brenner, the serial entrepreneur from Georgia, an angel investor in more than 70 startups, named among the 100 most influential investors in Israel, and the former head of “Textar” Tel Aviv, will be visiting. The summit will take place on May 28-29 in Tbilisi and is open to Georgian startups, representatives of innovation, science, and research, students, and all interested individuals.
Hilla Ovil Brenner is an active supporter of women entrepreneurs worldwide. She founded the organization Yazamiyot, which boasts more than 5,500 female entrepreneurs and is one of the leaders in the Israeli startup ecosystem.
In 2024, Hilla Ovil Brenner became a partner of the American holding company Arieli Capital. The holding invests in leading technology companies, innovation platforms, and public, academic, and private sectors.
It is also worth noting that at the 2023 Global Startup Fund event, Hilla Ovil Brenner was the keynote speaker and panelist. Her knowledge and experience gained from Israel’s startup nation play a significant role in Georgia’s ecosystem formation. Hence, at the 2024 summit, she will share her experience with the participants in a new capacity.
Since 2019, in partnership with the Israeli side, the Global Startup Fund, based Business and Technology University, has been hosting the summit annually. Within the summit’s framework, startups have raised over a million in funding over the years, and the event’s scale is growing every year. Cooperation with the Agency of Innovation and Technology of Georgia and other private and international organizations gives the Summit an important mission: to highlight the Georgian startup ecosystem for global innovation, placing it on the map and enabling local or regional startups to develop in international markets.
