Nino Enukidze is participating in the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The Rector of the Business and Technology University, Professor Nino Enukidze, has been invited to participate and speak at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos.
The Forum will take place on January 18–23 in Davos, Switzerland, and brings together up to 3,000 of the world’s most influential leaders from governments, academia and the business sector, civil society and culture, as well as technology mega-corporations and innovative projects from different countries.
Among the topics to be discussed at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in 2026 are geopolitics, growth, human capital, technology, and the planet. The aim of the Forum is to discuss global challenges and to deepen dialogue and cooperation across sectors.
Within the framework of the Forum, Nino Enukidze will take part in working meetings and dialogues with international partners around innovation, artificial intelligence, and technology. Nino is also invited as a speaker at two sessions:
Within the World Economic Forum, the session “Intelligence for Inclusion: Transforming Women’s Health through AI” will be held, which is part of the Alliance for Global Good – Gender Equity and Equality “We Lead” Lounge program and promotes gender equality in healthcare, women’s entrepreneurship, education, and skills development. The alliance is supported by the Gates Foundation, and this session is one of the most influential events at the Forum.
The second session, organized by Mastercard, is titled “Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth x Young Global Leaders,” and Mastercard Fellows will participate in it, speaking about strategic cooperation, building connections, and action-oriented plans.
In 2024, Nino Enukidze was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. The ranking is compiled once every three years and, as a result, up to 100 leaders are named worldwide. According to the Forum, the list compiled through the prestigious ranking system highlights people who have a global vision in response to various challenges facing the world. From 2024, the Business and Technology University—its students and professors—gained access to the Forum’s latest unique AI platform, the “Strategic Intelligence Platform,” which is actively used in the teaching and research process. BTU also became the only contributor to the Strategic Intelligence Platform from Georgia.
The Davos Economic Forum is the most influential and exclusive event in the world. It was first held in 1977, and in 2026 it hosts its 56th session. This year, up to 3,000 leaders, including the prime ministers of 50 countries and more than 100 international media outlets, attend the Forum. A number of important initiatives started in Davos, such as the creation of the G20 and the founding of the vaccine alliance, GAVI, which provided free vaccination for more than one billion children. The Reskilling Revolution initiative also started in Davos, in order to help one billion people better prepare for the future labor market.
