
An International AI Camp will be held at the initiative and with full funding from GITA.

At the initiative and with full funding from Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), an international camp will be held on August 17–22 with the participation of Georgian and international mentors and lecturers.
Within the framework of the camp, participants will complete the following modules:
AI and Machine Learning
- Fundamentals of AI and machine learning in Spatial’s virtual environment
- Overview of machine learning algorithms
- Key concepts of data science
- Simple examples of machine learning and data-driven problem solving
Computer Engineering, Systems, and AI Tools
- Fundamentals of computer engineering and systems
- Introduction to AI and AI tools
- Fun practical activities using AI tools
- AI in art and innovation
- Systems thinking in practice
Cybersecurity and Responsible Use of AI
- Fundamentals of computer systems and AI infrastructure
- Hardware vs Software
- Cybersecurity in artificial intelligence, data security, and risk management
- Principles of ethical and responsible AI
- Risk analysis exercises and development of secure AI solutions
Entrepreneurship and Product Development
- AI in entrepreneurship
- Business models, MVP design, and prototyping
- Product-Market Fit
- Pitching techniques, storytelling, and presentation skills
- Pitching simulation and feedback
- Teamwork, preparation, and presentation of the final project
The camp will also include:
- Practical workshops
- Virtual sessions
- Teamwork, problem solving, and interactive collaboration with mentors
- Networking, intercultural, sports, and creative activities throughout the camp
The camp will be implemented by Business and Technology University (BTU).

Meet Lasha Sharikadze, trainer of the international AI camp organized by Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA).
Lasha Sharikadze is a digital transformation specialist and strategist with 12 years of experience in project and process management. He is the CEO of Digital Settings, leads the development of AI-based technological solutions, and actively contributes to the development of Georgia’s technology ecosystem.
Lasha is also a lecturer at BTU, where he teaches students the fundamentals of artificial intelligence.

Meet Erekle Modebadze, mentor of the international AI camp organized by Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA).
Erekle Modebadze is the AI R&D Lead at Nebi. He has many years of experience working as an AI engineer and leading AI teams in international startups. He is also the founder of Zepply, formerly Botu.
Erekle is a graduate of Business and Technology University (BTU) and actively works on the development of innovative products in the field of artificial intelligence.
Meet Luka Baklaga, trainer of the international AI camp organized by Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA).
Luka Baklaga is a researcher and entrepreneur specializing in quantum artificial intelligence, neuromorphic computing, cybersecurity, and algorithmic game theory.
He works at the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau (WHZ) in Germany and at BTU as a researcher and lecturer in artificial intelligence and virtual reality. Luka is the co-founder of several technology startups and an invited speaker at international scientific conferences.
Meet Sven Hellbach, trainer of the international AI camp organized by Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA).
Sven Hellbach is a professor of artificial intelligence and intelligent systems at the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau (WHZ) in Germany. His research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning, neural networks, virtual and augmented reality, as well as human-machine interaction.
Professor Hellbach has many years of academic and research experience in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics. He has led and participated in numerous international projects and actively works on the development of AI and innovative technologies.
Meet Gega Cheishvili, trainer of the international AI camp organized by Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA).
Gega Cheishvili is a cybersecurity expert and currently holds the position of Head of Threat Intelligence & Incident Response at CORX.
He has many years of experience in the field of cybersecurity, including at the Cybersecurity Bureau of the Ministry of Defence of Georgia and the Regional Cyber Defence Centre (RCDC). His expertise includes Incident Response, Digital Forensics, Malware Analysis, Cyber Threat Hunting, and Penetration Testing.
Gega also has academic experience. He has lectured at the National Defence Academy of Georgia and conducted seminars on cyber hygiene, cyber intelligence, and the Dark Web.
Meet Mariam Giorgobiani, trainer of the international AI camp organized by Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA).
Mariam Giorgobiani is a technology entrepreneur, a Forbes Georgia “30 Under 30” listee, and the co-founder of DGFI Conference and Arena Games.
She is currently the Program Manager of Georgia Startup Academy by 500 Global, where she supports the development of the next generation of founders and startups.
Her main areas of work include innovation, entrepreneurship, and strengthening the technology ecosystem in Georgia and the region.
