
The Tech Olympiads Hub is launching the selection of Georgian school students for international competitions.
Within the Georgian Tech Olympiads Hub, a series of national Informatics championships is launching. Student selection across the country, training, hosting championship rounds, and sending winners to international Olympiads will be carried out on the initiative of Business and Technology University (BTU) and with TBC’s general support.
In 2026, the Georgian Tech Olympiads Hub will ensure the organization of national championship rounds for school students in Georgia, the preparation of national teams composed of the winners, and their participation in international Olympiads. These Olympiads are:
- All-Georgian School Olympiad in Informatics (OLYINFO)
- European Junior Olympiad in Informatics (EJOI)
- European Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics (EGOI)
- International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI)
As well as support for the preparation and training of participants for the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI), and ensuring the resources needed to compete successfully at the final stage.
Within the Hub, BTU will coordinate preparatory camps, trainings, and mentorship programs, which are based on international Olympiad experience and best practices. Professional mentors, trainers, and leading specialists in the field will be actively involved in the process.
The Georgian Tech Olympiads Hub is launching the preparation process for its first nationwide Olympiad. Registration for the All-Georgian School Olympiad in Informatics (OLYINFO) will run from January 15 to January 29, 2026. Students aged 9–18 in the relevant age categories can participate. OLYINFO will give each participant the opportunity to test their skills in Informatics, programming, and algorithmic thinking, while students with the best results will join the national team selection and training process. The first informational meeting related to the OLYINFO Olympiad will be held in Tbilisi on January 16 at 17:00 at BTU; if you wish to attend the Open Day, fill out the registration form at the link. Informational meetings in the regions of Georgia will be planned in the coming weeks.
Registration for other championship rounds and Olympiads will be announced gradually.
The Hub’s activities are implemented with the support of partners: UN Women, the Georgian Artificial Intelligence Association, the ICT Association, Lineate, EPAM, and the development company Blox. The partnership aims to strengthen an inclusive, high-quality, and sustainable technological ecosystem in Georgia.
