An ongoing EU-funded project that aims to enhance the quality of education in the digitalization of technological processes and production. The project includes the establishment of a Digital Twins Laboratory at BTU and the introduction of new courses in AI, machine learning, and big data.

Enhancing Women Entrepreneurship in Agriculture

The project aims to strengthen women’s entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector through the development of vocational education. It provides training, mentoring, and career support, particularly for women living in rural areas. The initiative also promotes the development of innovative, green, and digital skills in agribusiness.

The project focuses on strengthening vocational education systems and improving their alignment with labor market needs. Its mission is to make AI knowledge and skills accessible to everyone, regardless of age or social status, including members of vulnerable groups.

Immersive Learning METAVERSE-An innovative educational initiative funded by DAAD through the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) that creates a modern learning environment through the use of the metaverse and artificial intelligence. As part of the project, an undergraduate program in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence was developed.

European Energy Efficiency towards Mutually Reinforcing Partnership with Georgia, Azerbaijan and Ukraine

European Union Energy Policy Module

The European Union Energy Policy and Sustainable Development module focuses on energy policy and European integration within the academic environment.

Through the Sustainability Lab and international projects, BTU has strengthened the sustainability component of its academic programs and updated relevant curricula. Students develop knowledge and skills to address contemporary challenges related to sustainable development, energy security, and the green economy.

The Sustainability Lab introduces students to the principles of the circular economy, climate change challenges, and the importance of responsible business practices. Students also explore the integration of sustainable technologies into business and the relationship between sustainable development and modern financial systems.

Within the Jean Monnet Module EU-Energy-SSDP, two courses were developed to examine energy-related issues from a European perspective: EU Energy Security Policy and Renewable Energy Policy in the European Union and Georgia.
