BTU is the first in the region to offer a doctoral program: Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence in Public Sector. Conducting scientific research around AI, its gradual integration into various sectors, the implementation of relevant solutions in the learning process and the execution of a unified strategic plan – BTU addresses these key areas within the framework of its PhD program, “Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence in Public Sector,” supported by international partners. The program was developed with the support of the UN Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics.
BTU offers accredited bachelor’s programs in “Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence” (in both Georgian and English languages). The program focuses on Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning, Big Data Analytics, and Natural Language Processing (NLP). Students also have the opportunity to participate in a Dual Degree program with Zwickau University of Applied Sciences in Germany.
AI literacy and readiness modules are integrated into all bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs at BTU. The study courses cover AI ethics, safe usage, data analytics, text and code generation, marketing and financial decision support and AI-assisted programming (Vibe Coding).
