BTU Students to Participate in the International CFA Institute Research Challenge 2026–2027 Competition
A team of students from Business and Technology University (BTU) will participate in the international CFA Institute Research Challenge 2026–2027 competition.
The CFA Institute Research Challenge is an international educational competition that enables students to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, conduct financial analysis, evaluate company performance, and prepare investment research reports. The competition helps participants develop skills in financial research, analytical thinking, teamwork, and professional presentations.
The BTU team’s Faculty Advisor is Vakhtang Chkareuli, Professor and Head of the University’s Bachelor’s Programme in Finance. Under his guidance, students will carry out research and analytical work as part of the competition.
On November 9, the BTU team will travel to Istanbul to attend the competition’s official kick-off meeting. Following the meeting, the research phase will begin, during which students will work on financial analysis and investment valuation.
Participation in this international competition will allow BTU students to apply their academic knowledge to real-world financial challenges, strengthen their professional competencies, and gain international experience.
Participation in the CFA Institute Research Challenge represents another opportunity for Business and Technology University to advance practice-oriented education in finance and increase student engagement in international educational activities.
