BTU Becomes an Associate Member of SAP University Alliances
Business and Technology University (BTU) has signed a cooperation agreement with SAP, one of the world’s leading technology companies, under which BTU has become an associate member of SAP University Alliances, an international educational network.
The partnership aims to advance technology-driven education at the university, expand access to international educational resources, and strengthen the professional competencies of students and academic staff.
SAP University Alliances is an international educational initiative that provides higher education institutions with access to SAP’s academic learning materials and enables their integration into the teaching and learning process.
The international reach of SAP University Alliances is reflected in its extensive partner ecosystem. In Europe, the Middle East, and Africa alone, the network brings together more than 850 universities across nearly 50 countries, reaching over 200,000 students.
Under the agreement, Business and Technology University will be able to:
- Integrate SAP University Alliances’ academic learning materials into the university’s teaching and learning process;
- Enrich academic courses with international educational resources and practice-oriented materials;
- Help students deepen their understanding of modern business and technological processes;
- Support the professional development of academic staff through access to relevant educational resources;
- Develop innovative teaching approaches and strengthen the connection between academic education and contemporary industry practices.
BTU’s membership in the SAP University Alliances international educational network was made possible with the support of UGT, an SAP partner in Georgia. UGT’s involvement facilitated the establishment of cooperation between the university and SAP, creating new opportunities for access to international educational resources.
The partnership forms part of BTU’s international development strategy, which focuses on integration into the global technology ecosystem, improving the quality of education, and providing students with opportunities to develop knowledge and skills aligned with the demands of the modern labor market.
Joining SAP University Alliances marks another important step for BTU in strengthening international academic cooperation and advancing technology-driven education.
